CMM9 force and/or moisture measurement module

The CMM9 is a compact, CAN bus-capable measurement module, specially developed for precise force and moisture measurement in mobile machines and is used in combination with external sensors. Originally designed for use in agricultural balers, it enables to accurately record weight and reliably determine the moisture content of materials such as straw or hay.

The CMM9 offers two signal amplifier channels for sensors such as load cells with strain gauges. The analog signals are amplified within the module, converted, and then transmitted to a higher-level control unit via CAN-based protocols.
In addition, the CMM9 offers two inputs for resistive moisture measurement. This requires external contact. For additional functionality, the device has five multifunction inputs that can be configured for a variety of sensor signals. A switchable reference voltage output (Vref) ensures a stable power supply and supports precise measurements even under fluctuating operating conditions.

To meet different application requirements, the CMM9 is available in three variants: a combined force and moisture measurement version, a force-only version, and a moisture-only version.
